  She had never been the best at expressing how she felt, or being the popular girl. When she was at school, she was quiet, and she got by on that quiet. She was reserved, and it suited her.  But at home she was free to be herself, free to feel the warmth of the summer sun, to run through her father's garden, and to be weightless in the comforting arms of her pool.  She could sing to her heart's content, or sketch her feelings out on the rough white expanse of paper she had sitting atop her desk.     She shivered.            Hugging herself didn't help keep the cold at bay, and yet she kept her hold, hoping that maybe- just maybe  - she could stay sane long enough for someone to find her, and save her from the ghosts.        Hah.   Save her? The little monster in the back of her head stopped clawing at her nerves long enough to laugh at her. Long enough to taunt her, and remind her that noone cared enough to come say hello, let alone save her from the memories of people that had long since moved away, or dissapeared completely.
